Daikanyama ao + Organic Cotton Towel

This organic cotton towel from ao+ begins with an extra step: every towel is washed in natural enzymes and pure soap before leaving the factory. Organic cotton naturally holds onto its oils, which can slow water absorption — ao's process removes them so the towel takes in water right from the first use. The result is something noticeably soft and lofty to hold, without the initial stiffness new organic textiles sometimes carry.

It comes with a khaki cotton ribbon for hanging. Available in two sizes: a compact guest towel suited for hand drying or gifting, and a larger face and hand towel for everyday use. Recipient of the Good Design Award.
