This cute guy is not just an ornament! Designed to tackle bad smells and freshen the air. Made of diatomaceous earth, charcoal, and recycled ash, it is a natural solution to a universal problem of homes and living spaces, especially areas like your shoes storage and cupboards where pesky odors reside. This little chap lets you know he is doing his job by changing color. When "he" is all used up absorbing odors, you just put him outside to refresh and then he is ready to go again.

Soil was established as a collaboration between h concept, a renowned design company in Tokyo, Japan, and Isurugi, a plasterwork company; soil co., ltd. in Ishikawa, Japan that cultivated its artisan skills with a history of almost 100 years. Made of diatomaceous earth, the craftsmen use Isurugi’s plastering techniques to sculpt pieces that preserve the earth’s sedimentary qualities of absorption and moisture retention.
