Tombow FUMI NAGORI Mechanical Pencil (0.5mm)

FUMI is Tombow's newest mechanical pencil, and the first writing instrument anywhere to use NAGORI — a composite material developed by Mitsui Chemicals from minerals recovered from seawater. The body has a cool, ceramic-like feel in the hand, with a matte surface and a marbled pattern that forms naturally during moulding, so no two pencils look quite the same.

It's a traditional tapered-barrel design, 142mm long with a maximum diameter of 11.5mm, holding 0.5mm lead through a standard knock mechanism. A low centre of gravity and metal tip help keep the line steady, whether you're sketching, journalling, or working through a long to-do list. Made in Vietnam, FUMI brings a quietly different material into a familiar shape — one that's worth picking up just to feel the surface.
