White Porcelain Tea Cup — 2008 Good Design Award Winner

The white porcelain tea cup is a versatile piece that can serve multiple purposes beyond just a tea cup. It is also ideal as a soba choko (dipping cup for soba noodles) or as a small bowl. Its appeal lies in the high-quality white porcelain, crafted to highlight the transparency and purity of Amakusa ceramic stone.

This piece was designed in 2002 by Yasuki Sakamoto of Hakusan Porcelain, a designer who studied directly under the renowned Masahiro Mori. In recognition of its thoughtful design and functionality, the Yunomi Choko won the prestigious Good Design Award in 2008.

Note: One cup per purchase. Photo with two stacked cups is simply to showcase how multiple cups can stack.
