2016/ is a porcelain brand born from a project that brought sixteen international designers — including Tomás Alonso, Saskia Diez, and Scholten & Baijings — together with century-old kilns in Arita, Japan, to mark 400 years of the region's porcelain industry. The project debuted in Milan in 2016.
