Reuben King (he/him) is a Jewish-Canadian ceramic artist based in Vancouver, British Columbia, on the ancestral lands of the Squamish, Musqueam, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. For the past 18 years, Reuben has dedicated himself to the art of ceramics, embarking on a journey of exploration through diverse ideas and shifts in aesthetics. His works embrace soft gradients, sleek forms, and purposeful functional designs, all with the intent of seamlessly integrating these pieces into everyday rituals.

Each creation is meticulously handcrafted, including his hand-built kiln and glazes he works with. While he still sources his glaze materials from the commercial industry, Reuben is committed to the sustainable practice of foraging wild clays and materials to further enrich his craft.
