Crafted by the woodworkers of Tosaryu (in Japan's Kochi Prefecture), this soap rest was transformed from the locally grown hinoki cypress trees into a beautiful sink-side object. The wood is sustainably harvested, dried for 3-6 months to preserve its sturdy, fragrant, and naturally antibacterial composition. A tapered, finely ridged surface keeps the soap bar from slipping and helps with drainage.
