Japanese Hemp Fukin Dish Cloth
"Fukin" means dish towel in Japanese, and traditionally are made from mosquito net linen cloth. Linen fibre is longer than cotton fibre, making it suitable for drying dishes as it hardly becomes fluffy. The fabric is therefore very strong, super water-absorbing (4x that of cotton) and also dries really quickly. You may also use it as a washcloth or dust cloth.
Dyed in the colours of seasonal flowers, this multi-faceted cloth has been loved through many generations and won the 2022 Good Design Long Life Design award in 2022.
