Hasami Porcelain Coaster/Plate - HPM001 (Gloss Gray)

Hasami Porcelain has been in our studio for years now, since one of our team members brought a set in and it never left. It gets used constantly, for coffee, for snacks, for whatever's nearby.

This small dish is part of Hasami Porcelain's original collection, designed by Takuhiro Shinomoto in Nagasaki, Japan, and a winner of Japan's 2015 Good Design Award. It's made from the same stone and clay blend as the rest of the line. In Gloss Gray, the glaze is glossy on top and left raw along the edge, so you can see and feel the texture where the two meet. Use it as a coaster under the matching mug, a lid to keep a drink warm, or a small holder for a teabag or two.
