Hasami Porcelain Plate - HP004 (Natural)

We use the Hasami Porcelain plates in the studio almost daily, for lunch at our desks or for putting out snacks when people stop by. They're some of the most-used pieces we own.

This plate is part of Hasami Porcelain's original collection, designed by Takuhiro Shinomoto in Nagasaki, Japan, and a winner of Japan's 2015 Good Design Award. It's made from the same stone and clay blend as the rest of the line. In Natural, that texture is at its most obvious, a little rough and close to the raw material. It's a good size for serving or for a full meal, and it stacks neatly with the rest of the collection so it doesn't take up much cupboard space. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
