Hasami Porcelain Plate - HPM004 (Gloss Gray)

We use the Hasami Porcelain plates in the studio almost daily, for lunch at our desks or for putting out snacks when people stop by. They're some of the most-used pieces we own.

This plate is part of Hasami Porcelain's original collection, designed by Takuhiro Shinomoto in Nagasaki, Japan, and a winner of Japan's 2015 Good Design Award. It's made from the same stone and clay blend as the rest of the line. In Gloss Gray, the glaze is glossy on top and left raw along the edge, so the texture is easy to see and feel. It's a good size for serving or for a full meal, and it stacks neatly with the rest of the collection so it doesn't take up much cupboard space. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
