Founded in 2013 by Hyogensha — a respected stationery company established in 1948 — Cozyca was created to showcase the work of independent artists and to inspire writers through thoughtfully designed paper goods. Each piece reflects a distinct artistic perspective, offering a glimpse into the unique worlds of its collaborators.

In Kyoto, Cozyca also operates a charming shop called Hiraeth, where their full range of artist collaborations is on display. The gallery space upstairs features rotating exhibitions highlighting different artists and their works. It’s one of those places we hope to visit in person someday.
