The craftsman has its atelier and shop at Torigoe in Tokyo (old Edo's downtown). An area filled with classic typesetters, canning factories, cloth wholesalers and hardware stores.

This wood paper weight, also known as "Sashimono", utilizes no nails but simply joins different woods together. A traditional craft good in Japan that has been handed down since the Heian era. Since iron is fixed inside, viewers are amazed by its weight that seems unlikely for its appearance.
