Mizushima

Mizushima is a small, independent stationery maker in Tokyo, run by a designer who loves polka dots and a stationery shop owner who loves stripes. The name joins the Japanese words for both, mizutama and shima-shima. Since 2006 they've made stamps, memo pads and letter sets with a bit of handwork built into production, using simple materials meant to be kept and used for a long time. Many of their pieces are collaborations with Japanese illustrators and makers.
