Kousaido Japanese Incense — Sumi Charcoal

The Sumi (Charcoal) scent is inspired by the ink used in Japanese calligraphy — a blend of sandalwood, musk, and borneol (a crystallized tree resin with a piney, camphor-like note) that's popular with anyone who enjoys a warm, smooth sandalwood base.

The incense sticks come wrapped in white paper and stored in a paulownia wood box, ideal for preservation and storage. Incense holder not included — we recommend pairing this incense with the Kousaido Brass Incense Holder or Kousaido Brass Cone Incense Holder with Glass Plate (sold separately).
