Oak Village began in 1974, when five young woodworkers who'd met on an alpine hut project in Nagano relocated to Takayama, in Gifu Prefecture, and built their first workshop in a barn. Their ongoing mission is a sustainable, human-and-environment-in-balance approach to craft.

Crafted from solid Japanese oak, this tape cutter is sized for tapes with a smaller diameter (like MT Tape). It carries no logos — just plain, quiet solid wood that takes on a smoother touch with use.
