Kousaido Japanese Incense — Plumeria (Ika-Denshin series)

Part of Kousaido's Ika-Denshin series — a set of flower-based incense from the Kyoto maker, each one tied to a different time of year.

Plumeria is sweet and a little tropical, like the flower's scent carried in on a warm southern breeze. It's the sunniest of the series and works well on a grey day. Each small box holds 20 incense sticks and a simple aluminium holder, ready to use right away. Made in Japan from tabu powder and sandalwood, with no burning accelerants added.
