Mitsubishi Uni-ball ZENTO FLOW Water-Based Ballpoint Pen — 0.38mm or 0.5mm

Most ballpoint pens make you work a little. The uni-ball ZENTO Flow is built around the opposite idea. Its ZENTO ink system uses a POA surfactant cushion between the ball and the paper, reducing writing friction by about 40% compared to a standard water-based pen. The result is a pen that moves with noticeably less resistance — the kind of difference you feel after an hour of writing, not just the first sentence.

The Flow model pairs a long anodized aluminium grip section with a two-tone ABS plastic upper barrel, lowering the centre of gravity and giving the hand a more stable hold over longer sessions. Water-based pigment ink delivers a consistent, rich black with minimal bleeding or show-through. Available in 0.38mm and 0.5mm. Made in Japan by Mitsubishi Pencil.
