This DIY kit brings the scents of Japan into your own hands — yuzu citrus, hinoki cypress, and green tea — with everything needed to press up to 20 cone-shaped incense sticks in under 30 minutes.

Made in collaboration with the Fukunaga family, whose incense-making legacy on Awaji Island goes back over 120 years — the island is considered the birthplace of incense in Japan, with a climate suited to drying the raw material.

A free self-paced class is available on YouTube. Powder and oils can be purchased separately to make more incense.
