Located on Sado Island, these traditional straw trivets are hand-woven by grandfathers and grandmothers in Niigata Prefecture. The donut shape increases stability for pots and pans of all shapes, including pots with rounded bottoms. Made of natural materials with a simple, gratifying texture makes this functional tool just as pleasing to the eye and have also been hung as decoration.
