Yoshita Handi-Design Studio Racco Renge Spoon
The Yoshita Handicraft Design Studio carries on the universal values learned under Sori Yanagi, a renowned Japanese industrial designer renowned for his beautifully simple homewares and furniture.
The Racco cutlery series is a universal design that makes the most of limited space and seamlessly connects making and eating. The slightly larger renge spoon is easy to use like a renge (china soup spoon), such as for scooping fried rice while breaking it up, for noodles or for serving dishes such as mashed potatoes.
The size and shape of the tip have been carefully designed to meet the needs and usability of various applications, from using as cutlery at the dining table to tools for cooking. The handle of the renge spoon can also be used like a chopstick rest, and the compact appearance is truly a unique beauty.
The Racco series won the Good Design Award Best 100 for 2022, and continues to influence the world.
