Manufactured by Lion, these box files come in three traditional Japanese colours — Haijiro (pale grey), Kuriiro (dark brown/chestnut), and Nibiiro (dark grey) — each mixed into the paper during milling rather than printed on, so the colour runs through the material itself.

The box's proportions follow CDT's design code, based on the golden and silver ratios.
