Manufactured by Pilot, the CDT Frixon Ball 3 is the world’s first retractable and erasable multicolour ink gel pen. The black, red, and blue ink can disappear off a page from the heat that is friction-generated, allowing the unique thermo-sensitive gel ink to become clear. Compared to other erasable pens, the eraser doesn’t rub off, leaving your paper free of eraser debris.

The pen is stamped with Craft Design Technology’s signature Sanada-Himo pattern, which is a graphic interpretation of the braided rope stitches from the Edo Period. This rope was used in ancient times to hold swords/kimono sash, and today is used for boxes holding tea ceremony equipment.
