‘Kayari,’ designed by product designer Makoto Koizumi, is a modern mosquito burner with a simple and clean aluminum body and beautiful geometric perforated details. The handle is wrapped in rattan, creating an excellent contrast between the incredible texture of the metal and the natural material. Each piece, from the aluminum molding to the rattan wrapping, is handmade at a factory in Sumida Ward, Tokyo.

The handle is foldable and thin, and since it is aluminum, there is no need to worry about it breaking, and it is light and easy to carry. In 2018, the excellent design and functionality of the product were recognized and selected for the Matsuya Ginza Design Collection, an iconic selection of Japanese product design.

Each holder comes with one fiberglass mat. Additional fiberglass nonflammable mat can be purchased seperately in set of 3. It is recommended to replace it once every two months when it gets dirty.

Note: Mosquito coils are not included. This product is made of natural rattan, so the knots may look like scratches, but this does not affect the use of the product.
