Ito Bindery Drawing Pad - White
Ito Bindery started out as a bookbinding facility in Tokyo, back in 1938, and shifted toward paper goods like this one as demand for bound books declined with the rise of e-books.
This drawing pad comes in two sizes, A4 and A5, with 70 sheets of paper suited to pencil, ink, or light marker work. It won Japan's Good Design Award in 2010, one of the reasons it's held up as a reliable, everyday sketch and note pad.

Operating for 80 years in the Sumida area of Tokyo, Ito Bindery's operations currently focus on the manufacturing of their original line of memo blocks and drawing pads, as well as the production of flyers, leaflets and brochures. ITO Bindery's sleek stationery line is popular with those in creative fields, minimalists, and those who admire simple yet functional designs. Many members of the Ito family have a hand in the company, and it is not uncommon to see previous generations lending a hand in the factory.
